ABOUT
MARLEIGH CULVER
graduated in 2012 with a BFA in Graphic Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a background in various creative and craft mediums as well as dance. Marleigh has had the pleasure to create things for The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and Tumblr. Herself and her work have been featured and seen on Need Supply's blog, VICE Magazine, Impose Magazine, Stereogum and the infamous style blog, Dirty Richmond.
After graduating, I still have a lot to learn, so I take on as many projects as I can. It is so easy for me to absorbed in my work, to learn how to be good and not to suck. Color is a priority to me, it's some kind of innate obsession to solidify the language of a piece. Next is the imagery or type – the information, the idea. All the little details follow, all the nudging, resizing, layout and on.

Outside of working I collect a lot of images of art and fashion. Those subjects have taught me how to be specific and carve beauty out of nothing, to be impressive and colossal. A long way to go, but at least I'm on the road. I am currently residing on the east coast in Virginia.
